Athletics at TCS

At Trinity Christian School, we strive to offer students a well-rounded experience. We believe the Lord has blessed each of our students with certain gifts which include athletics, arts and academics.

Physical Education is part of the core curriculum at TCS and offered to all of our students twice weekly.

In addition, to enhance our students gifted in athletics, we offer our TCS Athletic Program.

The TCS Athletic Program is a part of the I.C.C. (Illinois Christian Conference) and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International), which is made up of several private Christian schools located throughout the south and southwest suburbs of Chicago.

Our Athletic Director is Mrs. Maddie Deeter, and through her leadership, our school offers excellent team experiences for our students.

 

Fall Sports

CoEd Soccer

Season: August - October

Grade Levels: 5th - 8th

Coaches: Ms. Anna Payton, Mr. Joe Fabbre

 

Our soccer team is coed and consists of students in grades 5th through 8th. 

Tournaments include the Cornfield Classic Tournament and the ICC Tournament.

Girls' Volleyball

Season: August - October

Grade Levels: 5th - 8th

Coaches: Mr. Jonas Byrer, Mrs. Carrie Pilon, Mrs. Maddie Deeter, Mrs. Kristi Lewis

 

Girls' Volleyball consists of an elementary team (grades 5 and 6) and a junior high team (grades 7 and 8).

Tournaments include the Cornfield Classic Tournament and the ICC Tournament.

Winter Sports

Boys' Basketball

Season: November - January

Grade Levels: 5th - 8th

Coaches: Mr. Jon Vugteveen, Mr. Bryan Proskey, Mr. Sean Mackin, Mr. Joe Fabbre, Mr. Kurt Bounds, Dr. Vince Benig

 

Boys' Basketball consists of an elementary team (grades 5 and 6) and a middle school team (grades 7 and 8).

Tournaments include the TCS Invitational and ICC Tournament.

Cheerleading

Season: November - January

Grade Levels: 5th - 8th

Coaches: Miss Kayla Bekermeier, Miss Courtney Ubert, Miss Megan Bresnahan, Mrs. Maddie Deeter

Spring Sports
